Psychology is a scientific study of human's mental processes , experience and behaviour. Psychology as a subject is generally included physiotherapy therapeutic, counselling courses and other medical courses. Psychology course requires studying and understanding personality related topics , behaviour , consciousness and human brain development. A Bachelor's degree in Psychology is an undergraduate degree whose duration is three years. The course consists the topics like industrial organizational psychology, social psychology, research methods , biopsychology , clinical psychology , counselling psychology introduction to psychology etc . The course is divided into 6 semesters ( 2 semester each year ).

BA Psychology ELIGIBILITY

The candidate with minimum 50% marks in class 12th , from a recognised board are eligible for this course. Candidate should be 17 or above

BA Psychology ADMISSION

Different colleges varies different criteria for admission like some of the Colleges provide admissions on the basis of merit list and some provide admissions on the basis of entrance exams. Like in Delhi University they provide admission on the basis of entrance exam. Every year, the top BA psychology released multiple cut-offs for the diverse psychology undergraduate courses . A candidate must meet the cut-off score set by the board to proceed with counselling rounds for admissions. Availability of seats in the college, the total number of appeared candidates for the exam, cut-off trends, paper difficulties are the factors for deciding the cut-offs. SCOPES OF PSYCHOLOGY

psychology addresses a variety of issues related to mental and behavioural functioning of an individual. Such a study helps us to develop a basic understanding about human nature and facilitates us to deal with a number of personal and social problems. The study of human beings starts with the functioning of biological systems especially the nervous system.
