Raj + Lata + Public School is a community school nestled in the Najafgarh area of South West Delhi, India. Founded in 2004 by Ramesh Kumar, the school provides education to children from the economically disadvantaged sections of society.
The school is named after Ramesh Kumar's parents, Raj and Lata. Their vision was to provide quality education to the children of the area, regardless of their background or financial status. The school is non-profit organization and is run entirely by volunteers, including Ramesh Kumar himself.
The school currently has approximately 400 students from kindergarten to tenth grade. The curriculum is based on CBSE guidelines, with a focus on academics and extracurricular activities. The school provides free education to all of its students, and also provides free mid-day meals to all students.
Raj + Lata + Public School has been recognized for its work in the community. In 2011, it was awarded the National Award for Child Welfare by the Government of India. The school has also been recognized by the Delhi Government, and has received grants from the government to expand its facilities and programs.
Ramesh Kumar is very proud of the school and the work that it does. He often visits the school and encourages the students to work hard and achieve their goals. He is a true inspiration to his students and the entire community.
