The school was established in 2008 and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is located in the Nalanda district of Bihar.
The school has four houses:
Gandhi House
Shivaji House
Subhash House
Tagore House
Each house is headed by a House Master and a House Mistress, who are responsible for the academic and disciplinary development of the students in their care. The school has a well-equipped gymnasium, a football field, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a cricket pitch, and a badminton court. It also has a swimming pool and a shooting range.
The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports, music, dance, and art. It also has a library, laboratories, and computer facilities.
The admission process to the school is competitive, and students must pass a written test and an interview to be selected. The school provides free education to the children of ex-servicemen and wards of serving army personnel.
